We welcome everything that is useful for Russian business. This was announced by Russian President Vladimir Putin at the plenary session of the Eastern Economic Forum in Vladivostok, Russia and commenting on the situation when numerous Russian companies have decided to relocate to Armenia.
“If the conditions are such that it is expedient and beneficial for people—and they are mostly specialists of the IT sector—to work there, then, for God’s sake, let them work [there]. Armenia is not a foreign country for us, everything is next to us, one can work in Yerevan,” added the Russian President.
According to him, if it is more beneficial and convenient for Russians to work in Armenia today, then there is nothing unusual about it. Moreover, as per the Russian president, many have already returned to Russia, realizing that nothing terrible is happening and everything is working and functioning despite the sanctions.
“One can work in Yerevan and live in Moscow,” Putin added.
