On July 7, the Karzakh village of Akhalkalak region will celebrate Jivani Day, which is traditionally celebrated as a day dedicated to Ashugh Jivani, great Armenian folk singer and troubadour.
The participants of the event will not only be introduced to Karzakh village and its interesting traditions, but will also have the opportunity to take a tour of the House-Museum of Ashugh Jivani (built nearly two years ago) for free. The House-Museum will transport its visitors to the Armenian reality in the 19th century, presenting the traditional lifestyle of the troubadour in that period, as well as Jivani’s life and career.
For more information about the Jivani Day events, follow the updates on the Facebook event page of the House-Museum of Jivani.
Don’t miss the opportunity to visit Karzakh and get a feel of the air of Jivani in the village.
