On September 27, a telephone conversation took place between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Lavrov and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan Bayramov, the Russian Foreign Ministry reports.
The situation in Nagorno-Karabakh was discussed, including “issues of providing humanitarian aid to the Armenian population, ensuring their rights and security”. According to the source, the ways of implementing a package of tripartite agreements at the highest level in 2020-2022 were discussed, regarding the development of a peace treaty between Baku and Yerevan, the delimitation of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border and the unblocking of transport communications.
A number of topics of the bilateral and regional agenda were also touched upon. An agreement was reached on further contacts at different levels.
