According to information published on Stopcov.ge, 35,583 tests have been performed in the last 24 hours as part of intensive testing, of which 21,538 for antigens and 14,045 PCRs.

As a result of testing, over the past 24 hours, 7,482 new confirmed cases of coronavirus infection have been identified. From the first case of infection to this day, the total number of confirmed cases of COVID-19 detected in the country is 1,591,936.

As for the positivity rate, as of February 24, the daily positivity rate is 21.03%, for the last 14 days it is 28.49%, and for 7 days it is 25.38%.

Over the past day, 14,603 people have recovered, in general, the number of recovered has increased to 1,462,572.

Over the past 24 hours, 32 new deaths from coronavirus have been recorded in Georgia. Since the beginning of the pandemic to this day, a total of 16,054 people have become victims of the coronavirus in Georgia.

Of the 7,482 new cases of coronavirus detected per day, 3,272 were recorded in Tbilisi, 406 in Adjara, 1,266 in Imereti, 310 in Kvemo Kartli, 455 in Shida Kartli, 279 in Guria, and 279 in Samegrelo and Zemo Svaneti. 528, in Kakheti – 599, in Mtskheta-Mtianeti – 173, in Samtskhe-Javakheti – 118, in Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti – 76.
