According to information published on Stopcov.ge, within the last 24 hours, 23,626 tests have been carried out across Georgia as part of intensive testing, of which 21,537 for antigens and 2,089 PCRs.
As a result of testing, over the past 24 hours, 450 new confirmed cases of coronavirus infection have been identified. From the first case of infection to this day, the total number of confirmed cases of COVID-19 detected in the country is 1,648,264.
As for the positivity rate, as of March 30, the daily positivity rate is 1.9%, for the last 14 days it is 3.44%, and for 7 days it is 2.75%.
Over the past day, 1,540 people have recovered, in general, the number of recovered has increased to 1,624,993.
Over the past 24 hours, 6 new deaths from coronavirus have been recorded in Georgia. Since the beginning of the pandemic to this day, a total of 16,745 people have become victims of the coronavirus in Georgia.
Of the 450 new cases of coronavirus detected per day, 212 were recorded in Tbilisi, in Adjara – 18, in Imereti – 58, in Kvemo Kartli – 19, in Shida Kartli – 21, in Guria – 26, in Samegrelo and Zemo Svaneti – 34, in Kakheti – 36, in Mtskheta-Mtianeti – 2, in Samtskhe-Javakheti – 5, in Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti – 19.
