Ambassador of Ukraine summoned to Indian MFA due to Zelensky’s statement

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of India summoned the Ambassador of Ukraine to New Delhi in connection with the statements of Volodymyr Zelensky regarding the visit of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi to Russia. This was reported by the Economic Times newspaper citing its sources.

It is noted that India postponed the meeting of the working group on joint issues with Ukraine against the background of the incident.

Last week, Zelensky criticized Modi’s meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin, calling it a “heavy blow to peace efforts.”
