In Akhaltsikhe, the tender announced for the reconstruction of 9 April Street N15 and N25 buildings, did not take place.
As we were told in the mayor’s office, no one took part in the tender. Now the tender has been announced for the second time, however, separately for both buildings.
According to the tender documentation, the mayor’s office planned to allocate more than 300 thousand lari for the restoration of two buildings.
The sum of the cost of tenders announced now is the same. The municipality plans to allocate up to 200 thousand lari for one building, and more than 106 thousand lari for another.
Akhaltsikhe City Hall tells us that the reason for splitting the tender is greater accessibility for bidders.
According to the tender documentation, the winning companies undertake to repair the facades of the residential building, equip the entrances and install coded doors.
