Sources revealed to Ma’an News Agency that the exchange deal will see the light of day within a few days.
Sources indicated that Hamas had responded positively to the proposed proposal, which includes a 60-day truce and a prisoner exchange.
Ma’an’s sources estimate that the deal will be signed and announced during this week, or at most early next week.
Israeli officials revealed to Kipa that a ceasefire will be announced next Sunday, and possibly this Friday, if all details of the plan are finalized.
However, Ma’an sources expected the deal to be announced this week.
The deal includes a 60-day truce, during which ten Israeli prisoners will be released, in exchange for the release of 150 Palestinian prisoners with long sentences, in addition to 1,100 prisoners from the Gaza Strip arrested after October 7.
According to the proposal, 18 Israeli bodies would be released, and for every Israeli prisoner, 10 Palestinian bodies held by Israel would be released.
