An earthquake with a magnitude of 4 occurred in the eastern province of Malatya, Turkey, the Disaster Management Department reports.
According to the department’s message on X social network, tremors were registered in Battalgazi region. The epicenter of the earthquake was located at a depth of 8.76 km.
On January 1, an earthquake with a magnitude of 4.2 was also recorded in Tunceli province in the east of Turkey.
The source of the earthquake was at a depth of 8.7 kilometers.
