The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan responded to the statement of the US State Department expressing concern over the deterioration of the humanitarian situation in Nagorno-Karabakh as a result of the continuous blockade of the supply of food, medicine and other goods necessary for a dignified existence.
Azerbaijani MFA spokesman Aykhan Hajizade described the claims about the blockade of Nagorno-Karabakh as “unacceptable”, noting that Azerbaijan has presented a number of proposals, and dozens of people are allegedly passing through the checkpoint located in the Lachin corridor.
