Russia is always ready to join the process of unblocking connections between Armenia and Azerbaijan and provide support based on the principles of Armenia’s territorial integrity, sovereignty and jurisdiction, Russia’s Deputy Prime Minister Alexey Overchuk has said.
Overchuk said that the unblocking is possible within the framework of the 9 November 2020 agreements.
“I want to say that the unblocking is possible within the framework of the agreements that were reached between the leaders of the three countries [Armenia, Russia, Azerbaijan] and were reflected in the 9 November 2020 joint statement.
Russia is always ready to join the process and help in this issue based on the principles of Armenia’s territorial integrity, sovereignty and jurisdiction,” Overchuk said.
Referring to the current tension in the relations between Armenia and Russia, Overchuk said that it is necessary to distinguish between what happens in the real world and what is presented in the information field.
