Salvadoran President Nayib Bukele is the first foreign leader to congratulate Republican Donald Trump on his victory in the US presidential election, calling him “president-elect”.
“Congratulations to the President-Elect of the United States of America, Donald Trump,” he stated on X, and attached a photo of himself and Trump.
